Very Cherry Jam
INGREDIENTS:

 
  • 1 quart sweet black cherries, chopped and pitted

  • 1 3-ounce package powdered pectin

  • ¼ cup lemon juice
     
  • ¼ cup cherry liqueur

  • 4 ½ cups sugar
 

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

Put all ingredients except sugar in a large pan. Bring to a boil, stirring regularly. Add sugar; continue stirring until completely dissolved.

 

Continue boiling 2 minutes after sugar dissolves; ladle into hot jars, leaving ¼ headspace. Cap and process 10 minutes in hot-water bath.
